On December 8, 2021 more than 20 community groups gathered at the Hurstbridge Community Hub for a scrumptious Christmas luncheon. This event was hosted by the Nillumbik council and it was catered by Green Karma. We were gushing with the feedback received.

Some highlights of the day:

• The food catered was 100% plant-based

• All dishes were made from locally sourced ingredients

• The food was cooked fresh on the day of the event 

• The meals were served on compostable plates with wooden cutlery

• Many returned for second and third helpings

• There were no leftovers as our guest happily packed some meal in compostable containers to share with their families
