Sustainable Table

Every day, good food is left behind on farms, in factories, and on supermarket shelves, not because it’s unsafe, but simply because it can’t be sold. Our project steps in before this food is thrown out and makes sure it’s put to good use.

 

When we rescue food, we’re doing more than filling plates. We’re keeping it out of landfill, where it would otherwise produce methane, a powerful gas that drives climate change. By stopping waste at the source, we help keep our air cleaner and our planet healthier.

​

But the impact doesn’t end there. Saving food also honours all the resources that created it, the water that grew it, the energy that moved it, and the people who worked hard to produce it. Every box of rescued food protects these resources and reduces unnecessary waste.

In short, we give good food a new purpose. And together, we’re building a community that cares for people and the planet at the same time.
